Beautiful stays

Over the years, I’ve stayed in many different kinds of places, from peaceful retreats surrounded by nature to beautifully designed spaces that make you want to slow down and stay a little longer. What makes certain hotels memorable for me isn’t simply how beautiful they are, but the feeling they create.

During my stays, I found myself paying attention to the little things: the light falling across a room, beautiful details in the interiors, quiet mornings, views that make you pause, and those small moments that somehow become part of the memory.

Through my photographs, I wanted to capture not only the places themselves, but the feeling of being there, the atmosphere, the surroundings and the moments that make a stay feel truly special.

Cork Valley is the kind of place where the landscape becomes part of the stay. Surrounded by cork oaks and open countryside, the hotel feels wonderfully removed from everyday life, with horses wandering through the grounds and nature always close by. The cabins are simple yet beautifully considered, with large windows that bring the scenery right into the room. Mornings here begin among trees, mountains and horses, while the quiet of the countryside gives the whole experience a slower rhythm. It feels like a place that belongs to its surroundings rather than simply being placed within them, making the stay feel peaceful, intimate and genuinely connected to nature.

Northern Lights Ranch is a beautiful escape into the stillness of the Finnish wilderness. Surrounded by snow, forests and endless winter light, the stay feels intimate and wonderfully removed from everyday life. The warmth of the interiors creates a beautiful contrast with the landscape outside, while the large windows make the surrounding nature part of the experience. There is something especially magical about slowing down here, watching the snow-covered world beyond the glass and letting the quiet of Lapland become part of the stay.
