I am a big fan of Halloween and for a long time I wanted to enjoy the spook-tacular day at Disneyland and I wasn’t disappointed. You can feel the spirit of Halloween, everybody wears a costume, the decorations are magical. It is perfect! That’s why I was super excited to go on a trip at Disneyland Paris for Halloween! Disneyland Halloween celebrations are elaborate and fun. They put a lot of effort to celebrate the season and it gives the spooky vibe I was looking for.
Each year from 1st October to 3rd November, the park transforms into a hauntingly delightful wonderland filled with mischievous Disney Villains, spooky decorations and exclusive entertainment.

The first thing you will see when you enter the park are lots of fun pumpkin scarecrows and ghostly scenes, also the orange glow of spooky lanterns and the beautiful autumn in Paris makes the moment perfect! I felt instant happiness, I wanted to wander around and eat Mikey shaped cookies and take lots of photos.
Disney Halloween Festival
We all know that Disneyland decorations are world-famous and one of the most iconic of all. Each month of October the park transforms into a bewitching wonderland. Most of the main park is decorated for this specific ocazion, especially Main Street and Frontierland. This event includes a variety of Halloween-themed activities, shows and attractions designed to be enjoyed by everybody. While walking around you’ll spot lots of autumn foliage, pumpkins and you might also hear some ghost haunting whispers or evil laughs around the castle from time to time. I mean how could they get any better?
I was delighted by the colourful pumpkins, dead-fun decorations and the “scary” ghosts, Disneyland Paris is a mesmerising place for people of all ages. Of course, the park is a dream for children that can enjoy various Halloween-themed activities, making it a playground of fun and terror. Enjoy special shows and interactive experiences that are exclusive to the Halloween festival. From live performances to immersive storytelling, these entertainment options add an extra layer of magic to your visit. Be sure to check the schedule and catch as many shows as you can during your stay.
For those who like the villains too, Disneyland Paris offers special encounters with some of Disney’s most beloved villains. I seen people making a queque to meet Maleficent, Captain Hook and some other villains. Seeing them so close it is a thrilling experience, thinking that all my childhood I seen them only on TV. This is a rare opportunity to interact with the villains and take photos that will make for great memories.
Experiencing Phantom Manor it is a chilling experience, this haunted mansion is filled with ghostly surprises. This ride offers a spooky journey through a crumbling old mansion, with special effects that create a truly haunting experience. It’s perfect for those looking for a good scare and a unique adventure.
nighttime at Disneyland
At nighttime in the fall season, the Main Street has an extra element of dazzle at the end of the day. The street lights had been filled with orange bulbs and some of them even had witches hats on top. The attention to detail was marvellous!
Be very careful while you walk at night and watch your back because the Disney Villains come to life, making you to feel a true Halloween terror, you might just get a “boo!” behind your shoulder by one of the mischievous villains!
is it worth it to go to Disney Halloween Festival?
Totally! You must be ready for the crowds, but it compensates with the magic of the season. Disney is a must-visit for those looking to celebrate the spooky season in a fun and unique way. Here you will live an unforgettable experience, those ones that you remember for life.
